THE ROOMS
Tempest On Wanaka welcomes guests to two spacious and comfortable ensuite triple rooms.
The rooms overlook greenery, with relaxing garden/ mountain views and are located upstairs on the first floor of the family home. They have been recently redecorated with Lin’s original artwork adorning the walls.
The Bed & Breakfast welcomes up to 3 guests per room with both a large double and single bed, easy chairs, an occasional table and TV.
The modern ensuite bathrooms feature a shower, with high-quality toiletries and a hairdryer. Coffee & tea-making facilities are available in-room, and there is shared fridge space provided for guest use.
Lin’s main art gallery is on the upstairs landing area beside the rooms.
FACILITIES
Staying in a Wanaka Bed and Breakfast is the ideal way to experience NZ hospitality and culture. Tempest On Wanaka offers exactly that and in addition to the comfortable triple rooms, the property is a wonderful place to relax.
Chris undertakes most of the gardening and is always pleased to show guests around, including his vegetable patch & greenhouse.
Guests are welcome to use the outdoor areas in warmer weather – the patio and outdoor dining area which is shaded by Riesling grape vines, with an abundance of delicious fruit in late summer.

The property itself is situated on a quiet private road with free on-site parking for guests.
The owners welcome guests from all over the world to enjoy a slice of kiwi hospitality.
Please note that Tempest On Wanaka only welcomes guests over 5 years of age (despite loving children)- due to various hazards at the property- i.e. a terraced garden & stairs.
